Motorcycle Challenge..Test your Skills

Florida Rider Education is free to all GWRRA Florida members. Rider Education is funded by selling raffel tickets for a new Honda Gold Wing. Each year at our District event, “Wing Gathering”, one lucky person is drawn from all of the ticket sales and rides off on a new Gold Wing. This is a great program and is the only one of its kind in all of GWRRA. The Levels Program consists of four different levels. They are Level I, Level II, Level III and Level IV.

Level I of the Rider Education Levels Program represents the commitment of the Rider and/or the Co-Rider to practice and encourage safe motorcycle operations whenever they operate their motorcycle. Safety begins as a state of mind that can be attained only through total commitment. Every successful accomplishment begins with a commitment to reach the intended objective. This is true of the Rider Education Levels Program and includes a promise to learn for the benefit of Rider, Co-Rider, friends and family, and others on the road.

Level II of the Rider Education Levels Program represents the continuing commitment of the Rider and/or Co-Rider to be safer motorcyclists by completing approved motorcycle training at regular intervals in order to build and maintain optimum riding skills and awareness.

Level III of the Rider Education Levels Program represents the commitment of the Rider and/or Co-Rider to be prepared in the event of an accident to give aid and possibly save lives. This is achieved by becoming knowledgeable in First Aid or CPR through training and by carrying a first aid kit on their motorcycle at all times.

Level IV is the most prestigious level within the Rider Education Levels Program and is referred to as Master Tour Rider/Co-Rider. It represents the highest level of commitment by the Rider and/or Co-Rider toward safe riding and preparedness. Level IV of the Rider Education Levels Program, the Master Tour Rider, was designed for those special caring individuals who desire to “be all they can be” with regards to motorcycle safety. The requirements are more stringent that Level III and requires a greater commitment. These individuals are caring, trained and prepared with the experience to back them up. It is realized Level IV is not for everyone, but for those who desire to be of greater service to their fellow man, it is the correct prescription.
